A Very Fine Thing
"You've got some pretty great stuff in here."
Deluxe Lipstick
Coach’s foray into makeup isn’t important for the quality of the lipstick so much as the packaging.
Rosebud Salve
Long the chosen lip-saver of women in the know, Rosebud smells good, looks good, and feels good. It adds just a hint of pink to the pout, and this little tin lasts forever.
And if you want just a little more variety, get the triple pack: Rosebud, Minted Rose, and Strawberry Salve too.
Mentha Cinnamint
The C.O. Bigelow lip shines are all pretty good, but I love the smell of light cinnamon for winter.
Exact Eyelights Mascara
Rarely do I divert from my tried and true, but this Cover Girl mascara boosts your natural eye color with complimentary reflective shades to highlight your lashes and “eyelight” your eyes. Definitely worth a try.
Tarte Cheek Trio
Three delicious colors to sink your cheeks into, and a gorgeous, shimmery little clutch to hold them.
Dior Show
I’ve tried them all, and this is the winner. The big fat brush is still small enough to fit in tiny lash corners, easy enough to wave up and down while your open maw holds the face steady, and the formula stays on all day and night, no flaking, smearing, or smudging.
Essie
With Essie polish, somehow I get it right every time, no color bleeding into my cuticles, and great coverage that lasts at least a week. However, the color samples shown are far from representative. Try two of my favorites: Curtain Call for a demure, slighty sparkly neutral, and Bordeaux for a knock-em-dead rich winter bright.
Kabuki Brush
This is my one-stop-shop for makeup application. Sure, I use other brushes from time to time, but if push comes to shove, this is all I really need. It’s worth the splurge; something about the way the bristles are packed in there can’t be matched. (I’ve tried.)
Cargo blu_ray Gloss
Please don’t take this endorsement as proof that I believe the blu_ray/ HD makeup promises. This is merely a fantastic gloss for ordinary reasons: great coverage, long wear, flattering colors. And perhaps most importantly, it feels light on the lips.
