"You've got some pretty great stuff in here."
If you know me, you know about cloud love.
Have an homage to Spock and company in your kitchen.
Major Etsy bender today…
One more summer serving essential.
One for Eric. (We’re going to need a bigger kitchen.)
I know I should just rent this, but how awesome would it be to have ready access to heavenly pillows of sugar?
Tons of summer parties, right? (Right.)
File under: three things I want for summer. This is number one, and feels like a total essential right now.
No, I am not daydreaming about margaritas crafted from fine 100% agave tequila. (Yes I am.)
Mini bowls for the prettiest salt and pepper presentation ever.
Last week I got it in my head that I’d like to drink from a 20 oz glass solo cup with a silicon lid and straw. But nobody makes that. (YET. Somebody, get on it.) Instead, enjoy this for now.
If I had it to do over again, I would give our table a brighter palette, like with these.
I have one of those classic five inch tall blocks to cut on, which I’ve since learned would be better if it were only a quarter of its height. If you agree, try this beauty.
I’m hoping that I could keep something as rugged as rosemary alive, because it would be excellent to go into spring and summer smelling Sicily everyday.
Lovely bronze mat for your spring table.
I’ve long loved the look of ceramics done informally; this Venetian terra marrone ups the ante. And, believe it or not, the salad plate is even more gorgeous.
This bowl seems meant to hold a fresh ceviche, yes?
I fell in love with these on a friend’s wedding registry. Go drool over the set of six — so bright and wonderful to open a cupboard and find.
I love the artist’s entire series, but I think these orange bowls would be perfect for me — and I’ll pretend they’ll infuse my morning cereal with vitamin C. Yum.
Whale, anchor, swan, what.
Time to throw some apples and cheese at this evening.
From the very spot that produced General Washington’s bourbon.
There is nothing I like better than cool water (okay, maybe with lemon) in a pretty glass.
I really would love a rosemary tree. It would help me with my daily pretending that I’m waking up in Sicily.
The most decadent thing that’s happened to dessert since whipped cream.
I’m a lover of all things bulls, except, probably, actual bulls… So, anyway, you should like this too. (Knives, bread board, book storage)
I am clearly obsessed with kitchen towels, but that’s okay — they’re practical and beautiful.
It’s nice to have a little color on the tabletop, and no need for dinner to be so serious.
I am the world’s biggest sucker for color.
These kitchen towels are the [second] best ones I’ve ever used. (Nothing will ever top the shabby, hole-ridden ones from thirty years ago.) But these are absorbent, and so pretty! (Thanks, Karen!)
The rolling pin that looks like the baguette you want to make with it.
I can see designing an entire kitchen around this.
